Valentin Rădutiu studied with renowned teachers Clemens Hagen, Heinrich Schiff and David Geringas, and has been praised by Süddeutsche Zeitung as “one of the most promising cellists of our time” with a unique and powerful tone. He is a laureate of the Karl Davidov Competition, the German Music Award of the German Business Community, and the Enescu Competition. Since 2019 he has served as principal cellist of the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin while performing worldwide as a soloist and chamber musician, admired for his artistic depth and musical refinement.
